"Art RPG" or "ARPG" stands for "Art Role Playing Game".
In an ARPG, you adopt, breed, purchase, or create a character with which to complete various art or literature based challenges.
Participating in these challenges may reward you with things like items and/or currency or Ability Points. Each ARPG operates differently but there are many similarities between them such as accruing ability points which then increase the power and abilities of the character.
